About Us
Twenty-five years above Pickens County.
Carl Whitaker started tearing off roofs the summer after high school and never really came down. By 2007 he had seen enough shortcuts, missing flashing, layovers on rotten decking, crews gone before the first rain, to know exactly what kind of company he wanted to build.
Ridgeline started that year with Carl, his brother-in-law, and one trailer. The rule was simple and it has not changed: build every roof like the warranty claim will come to your own house. Nineteen years and more than 2,400 roofs later, the crew is twelve strong and most of them have been here over five years.
We are based on Saluda Dam Road in Easley and work across Pickens County and the western Upstate: Easley, Liberty, Pickens, Powdersville, and out to Clemson.
